Take a walk on the Wild side

This walking Safari can easily be added on with any safari whether it be Medium luxury Mobile Camping Safari, Standard Camping Safari or a Lodge Safari.

It’s a walk on the wild side!!!

When on this walk that you walk from the village Eyalanai to the village of Irkeepusi to the village of Nainokanoka you will come across herds Buffalos, Zebras and even Elephants.

Sometimes you may even see Lions and Leopard on your trail.

It’s a walk of its own kind!!  That is accompanied by an armed Ranger, Maasai Morans and Donkeys that carry the equipment.

You will use light weight tents on this this walking safari.

Waking the Ngorongoro Crater Rim 4 days 3 Night 

Day 1: Savanna Bush Camp – Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Elayani Special Campsite

On this day of safari you will depart very early in the morning to Ngorongoro Carter.

You will do a crater tour till 2.00 pm then proceed to Layani Special Camp Site. Half way before you reach this camp you will meet your Armed Ranger, Two Maasai Morans and your walking transport 5 Donkeys that will carry the gear. From here you will then walk to Elayani Special Campsite.

Arrive at the camp for Dinner and overnight

Day 2: Elayani Special Campsite to Irkeepusi Special Campsite

After breakfast you will start your walk to Irkeepusi i Special Campsite

This part of the walk will take approx. 6 hrs. – 7 hrs.

You will encounter Elephants and Buffalos on this stretch of the walk (luck being on your side

You will be walking through the wood land and forest overlooking in to the Ngorongoro Crater

The Camp will be set up at Irkeepusi Special Camp site

Day 3: Irkeepusi Special Campsite – Nainokanoka Special Campsite

On this day of your safari you will walk from Irkeepusi Special Campsite to Nainokanoka Special  Campsite that is situated at the base of  Olmoti  Crater, the 2nd sister crater of Ngorongoro Crater.

You will be walking through open grass plains and  you will get to see lots of plains  game ( luck being on your side ) Zebras , Wildebeests and Buffalos.

You will arrive at this Camp late in the afternoon.
Here you will meet your driver guide, he will arrive with fresh supplies.
Dinner and overnight at Nainokanoka Ranger Post Special Campsite.

Day 4: Nainokanoka – Olmoti Crater tour – Savanna Bush Camp

On this day of safari after breakfast, from Nainokanoka Ranger post with a ranger you will walk to Olmoti Crater that will take about 45 min walk to get to the 2nd sister crater of Ngorongoro Crater and also visit Empakai Crater then return to Camp for hot lunch after loach load the Safari vehicle and proceed to Savanna Bush Camp for dinner and overnight.
